What'cha eatin'?

I used to always make sure to eat a big ol' breakfast before I played, but lately I've found that just coffee & water sits with me better and I'm able to move more effectively. Now I have a big iced coffee in the morning, drink about a gallon of water, then chow the F down after I get home.

Anyone else have eating rituals when they play?

Frozen bottles of Gator/Powerade during play is a stellar treat.

I mainly play and host outlaw/woodsball games.....

For breakfast: usually a cinnamon/raisin bagel or pack of peanut butter crackers and water.

For lunch/thru-out the day: an assortment of fun size candy bars(gallon size bag to share), more packs of peanut butter/cheese crackers(again enough to share) and cooler full of water/Gatorade/root beer(again enough to share).

For dinner: I usually try to teriyaki marinade a steak 48hrs prior. And opt between rice or mashed potatoes and some form of veggies. Oh and a beer....

Same as you, coffee and water. Sometimes I'll bring Gatorade if it's going to be a long hot day and maybe a snack in case I didn't get enough food in me the night before to last the day. It usually goes uneaten.

Nothing for breakfast but usually a protein bar and banana on my way to the field, and trail mix, jerkey, or maybe a pbj for lunch. Along with a gallon of water and one or two Gatorades. I usually keep it pretty light until dinner later that night.

Exactly! That's why I changed it up.

That's a good idea, I should try that on Sunday.

Same. I used to pack lunches & snacks & the whole nine yards, but it would just turn in to one more thing to carry.

Breakfast: High protein, usually 2-3 eggs scrambled, with guac and salsa wrapped up in a FlatoutBread wrap. I love those wraps, and eat them all the time.

Throughout the day it's just water and Powerade Zero.

Dinner I usually eat out after a day of play because I don't feel like cooking, so it's varies a lot on the night.

I'm pretty spartan for a day of play. Usually a light-ish breakfast of scrambled eggs and water, lots of water throughout the day.

After a day of balling though, it's game on. Steak, salad, tacos, whatever.
