Inbox was full for a goofy reason. Fixed. Sending out seal kits to a few testers in the AM for the V3 Bolt.

hey deathwish, i just posted a thread in the gog forum about modding your V3 ion bolt for my enmey, just had to turn down the tophat thingy and deepen the oring groove. i didn't know you were making a bolt for the gog, but is this essentially what you did to make your bolt work for the enmey?

Pretty much.

Goal #1 right now is to get the V3's working 100% with an oring fix.
Next is getting boltstops for gog/xe/vibe, etc made.
Then other projects.

Can't do it all at once or else it gets muddled.

How's the V3 working for you?

I turned it on my lathe last night and shot reballs in my basement. Sounds a lot quieter and less kick and mechanical clanking of the bolt return. I never got the bolt to work in my ion though, the oring would always pop off if I shot it over 220 fps. I'm gonna play with it on Thursday

Going to send you a PM as well.

We had instances of our V3 bolt breaking at a point of stress.
The bolt really shouldn't break during normal operation per simulations, but that is neither here nor there.

We are taking this chance to design a replacement core and bolt stop and have them manufacturered. We are currently vetting a core design and working on ensuring the various oring options for the core are not as goofy as before. This should be done by Sunday with an RFQ for a new production run of parts drawn up by Tuesday. If our previous experience with this manufacturer is any indication, we will have a lead time of 2.5 weeks.

I have a limited number of stock bolts that have been modified for mech use as well..

I have an original ion with an L6 bolt I'd really like to get you kit. How do I go about getting one and will my bolt work with it?
