DT1 Mechanical Design Services
Professionally I am a mechanical designer and drafter. If you have an idea that you want to turn into a 3d part and drawing, I can do that.

I have several projects that I have done here on MCB. The two that I think of right away are:

My Phantom undercocking kit (can't find the thread at the moment, will replace with link when I do find it)

There is also my Tippmann Factory F/A rebuild thread to show that I will complete the project.

I am looking to raise some funds to buy a larger mill and lathe than what I have. I'm looking to make a buck, but only enough to fund these purchases. Rates will be reasonable, nothing like what it would cost to get a drawing done in the real world.

Post here or PM me.

Well I've asked several machine shops to help me with a few projects. I've received 3 quotes, but it wouldn't hurt to get another one. The biggest issue I keep hearing is the body threading I'm looking to have done on my centerfeed mag. Here is the thread I posted on AO about the custom work I want done:

New Hypermag, Micromag and RT Mag Projects. Need Help.

If you could come up with a good design idea for the micromag vert threaded feedneck adapter and forgrip extender for it then I might have a guy that can CC Machine it... unless you could do that too. The main issue I am having is communication with these other shops. So let me know if you are interested. Thanks.

I have something in mind for the feed neck, but not sure what you are looking at for the foregrip. I'll be out of town for the next week, but should be able to check in from time to time.

Got a mini mill recently and just got this yesterday:

Due to that, I'm not going to be actively pursuing design services but will still take on work if asked. The lathe needs a little work, but soon enough I will have it up and running and will be making stuff. Already have one product in mind.
