If you still have it, I'll opt in for the prototype barrel

Finished cleaning the bodies this morning and took the whole works for anodizing.

Then I took a trip to Toronto on the 401 parking lot to buy a vise. That wasted most of the day.

Got back in time to drill and tap the bolts while john was working on the EVA parts.

Tommorow - hammers and sears.

So it looks like I need to find a barrel for mine. How long is the barrel that used to come with it? I want a barrel length that will match close to the bottom tube length.

I believe the barrel I use on my DSG is a 14 inch smart parts barrel

14 inch is the length the feedtubes were made to match up with nicely, like in the first release batch, they came with a 14 incher if you opted for the barrel option.

Assembled inner feed tubes:

These ones are a little different than DSG1's, you can take them apart. The lock pin that keeps it in the outer feed will also hold the cap in.

Hammers and bolts all ready to go ( also got the sears ready to go):

EVA's all ready to go:

my new vise :

Scrap bodies :

It's a shame isn't it ?
