Glad you are liking it. Be prepared to not get a whole lot of playing time when you show it off. You will spend half the night talking about it and trying to rescue it from admirers

If CCM barrels had come in 14" they might have come with those after the SP grief.
It's an amazing piece, Dukie - you've created a superb marker.

I noticed the shape of the ATI grip/CAR MRW4100 (where it plugs into the back of the DSG) is not circular all the way around - the bottom section extends downwards, almost like a keyhole. The grip that you provide stays curved. In any case, it was just some very minor trim, fit, trim a touch more, fit, etc., shaving the downward extension. I kept the fit tight, so that, as you mentioned above, you really need the bolt to snug against the DSG.

And yeah, I play at CQB in Toronto where there's a strong milsim culture. I brought it there on a weekday, so there were only a couple players that night. Not looking forward to holding the hordes back on a weekend walk-in day!

Well that explains that it, wouldn't fit a mossberg in the first place. They ahve a round hole in the back too.

Show it to romulus so he can see what he missed out on lol.

Had a chance to hold (but not shoot) a RAP4 shotgun simultaneously with my DSG shotgun last night.

- The DSG is more solidly built - no rattling or shifting parts, except for the pump (and of course, all pumps including the best like a DSG or CCM have some play in their pumps)
- The pump travel on the DSG is shorter and smoother
- DSG has a sleeker & smoother look

The owner of the RAP4 and myself are hoping to shoot them side-by-side over the next few weeks to compare function, efficiency and accuracy. But it's already pretty clear that the DSG is in a class above.

You of all people should be able to get it to work. First step in my opinion would be to make a bolt that properly pushes the paintball into the barrel. That's the number one reason for the ball breaks in a RAP4 shotgun. The ball sits about a quarter inch back from the barrel lip.

Hey Dukie and DSG fans, please note that I only handled the RAP4, I didn't shoot anything through it except air. The side-by-side shooting will be this Sunday or Monday. If the RAP4 works, that is

BTW, a colleague of the RAP4 owner called that marker a "blender", making a nice "milkshake" of paint inside the breech whenever they attempted to fire it!
