Correction to my earlier assumptions. It appears these feednecks are threaded.

I thought that might be the case. I owned a couple of the CCI produced bodies that were sold through Gearheadz a few years back. The feedneck thread is 7/8-20, which is what CCM and CCI use (CCM makes or made them for CCI). I think Stanchy and/or Nummech might make an empire feedneck adapter if you want to go that route.

Here's a quick warning for these bodies. Watch your front frame screw. I don't have lengths off the top of my head, but the standard AGD frame screw is dangerously short. When Mike made these bodies, he had a nice stainless insert turned to hold that front from screw. It has 1/4-36 threads on the outside like other CCI inserts and 10-32 threads on the inside. It has a shoulder where the OD threads stop. Unfortunately, where the OD threads stop and the shoulder begins is right were the stock AGD screw terminates. It ends at literally the weakest part of that insert. There's room for a ton more screw in there, and if your screw is even a few thousandths longer, it will extend beyond that shoulder and you'll have great strength. As it sits stock, it doesn't take much trauma to snap that insert.

I attached some pictures of one that I fixed a while back. I got a new insert from Mike (I'm fairly local), cleaned up the aluminum threads and loctited a new one in there. I then took a long 10-32 screw and ground it down until it sat just below the breech when installed (you can see it down the feedneck).

As we all know, Mike abandoned us all, and I don't know if EV has these inserts, but Mike split his remaining inventory with me when I fixed the other body. That was an inventory of like 8 or 10 inserts, but I should still have 3 or 4 if someone ends up needing some help.

Or maybe Mike told Tim about the issue and these all have long frame screws and I just typed this up for nothing!

Thanks for the heads up on the front frame screws. That will be another thing to investigate.

EDIT: Checked the front screw, it certainly has more room and a long screw can be used. As such I'll grab one at the local shop before seriously playing with the marker. @forumreader thanks for the super handy info and heads up.

The Stanchy CCM/Empire adapter is tempting, mostly for adding a spring feed.

Nummech makes the adapters aswell. I had him make them so I could swap feednecks on my s6.5. I have also had to fix one of the body mounting tabs.

Any chance some one would be willing to do a cad or something of the screw so we donít lose this info?

Well it seems as though they are all gone sadly. Listing is gone. Messaged him but no response. Was hoping they'd last until tomorrow so I could pick one up. Nards!

My frame screw was short as well. It seemed to hold just fine, but with abusive as I can be on hardware I absolutely noped out of that and immediately bought a 1" stainless steel screw and chopped it down to fit. It definitely needs to be longer then 3/4ths but shorter then an inch. Thanks a ton for the heads up!

Now I'm just patiently waiting for my level 10 to arrive. I didn't even chop paint with it in the few games I squeezed in (maybe 2 hoppers through it), but the appeal of never chopping a single ball was just too much for me.
