Well, first off, that's a used gun...the previous owner could have hacked off the guard. Secondly, it's got a double-trigger, so there's a reason
for the guard to be cut. There's just no reason to hack off the trigger guard on a single-trigger phoon, and I'm pretty sure that PPS wouldn't sell a gun like that. It's possible that this guy hacked it off himself (seems illogical) or that it originally came with a double-trigger that the owner replaced (even less likely), or that this guy ordered the gun that way (I said PPS wouldn't sell one like that, but their motto is
"Where 'Custom' still means something", so if a customer was really adamant about wanting a single-triggered gun with the guard cut off, they'd do it - for a price).
