Eclipse Marker Lubricants....

Is it really necessary to use "their" brand of lube? I have machine oil that I use on my cocker and I have some Dow 33 a big tube that I'm never going run out of.

Any help or knowledge is much appreciated....

Dow 33 is the same as eclipse lube, as for the oil I have no idea but since I didn't feel like killing my noid accidentally I just use their lube.

Eclipse lubes are top notch, but you can use Dow 33 no problem. What kind of machine oil are you using on the cocker? I would be hesitant to use it on a modern electro without knowing more about it.
