Oof, they're not getting any cheaper. I could kind of see it as a collectible at $300-$400 but at that price it's a hard pass.

I've still never understood why these are valued so high

Limited run numbers would be my only guess. I’m not sure it’s worth $600, but I guess if the right collector comes along then anything is possible. Cocker prices make no sense to me these days

I would agree
They were not all that popular back in the day, I seem to recall the last ones selling cheap before they were no longer retailed. I might have a faulty memory however....

Anyone ever shot one? Just curious if there is any noticeable advantage or if its just an ugly cocker?

I seem to remember ANS or Paintballgear.com selling them for like $80 back in 07 or 08. Lots of missed opportunities. If only one could go back in time...

The flatline barrel is supposed to put backspin on paintballs. It worked best with undersized paint. As I recall they were available for the 98 Custom but nothing else (I could be wrong with my memory here...)

I've seen Tippmann flatlines which shot level for a considerable distance. Supposedly if you tipped the gun on its side the balls could go around corners though I never actually saw anyone do that with a flatline.

Presumably a cocker flatline would perform the same but with a cocker's trigger pull.

I have mine used it mainly as a pump. The barrel does put a ton of back spin on the ball causing it to float. For example I chronoed at 180 field limit was 280 . Stood in the open at the back of the field braking paint on the bunker farthest across the field. While the guys behind it paint hit the ground about 25’ in front of me.

Advantage mine is a very feed. It would become a flame thrower when it was meched. Never set the timing with enough lag I guess chop city
