Electronic If it uses batteries, and fires paintballs... This is the place to sell it.

Dang. I saw this post last night and held off due to the red flags. A grip of members saw the post prior to anyone taking the bait. I guess all of us were to polite to post our suspicions. Usually a quick legit blowout sale item will be snagged by one of the first of us by. We are excellent vultures after all. If 50 people have seen something cheap and not jumped on it....

Why in the holy hell would you gift the money? Pay the extra 5 bucks for the peace of mind!

NEVER GIFT!!!!

I don't even like it when people gift me for an item and have refunded plenty of gift payments and required people to do it correctly. There is too much risk on both ends and I would rather eat costs or actually plan the price ahead of time for the small transaction fee.

Plus it is in the rules:

Quote:
2.1) Paypal Fees and Gifting
You can not ask for fees to be paid by the buyer. Fees are a cost of doing business. To get exactly $50, search for paypal fee calculator in a search engine, and ask for the amount that would give you $50 after fees. Buyers will not pay for fees.

Gifting is also not allowed. If at any point a seller asks the buyer to send money as a gift, they will be banned. Never, NEVER, never send money as a gift. Gifting means you gave the money freely, so if no product is sent, there is no recourse from the buyers point of view. If paypal finds out you lied about the gift, it's the buyer that gets banned, not the seller. In gifting the buyer takes all responsibility, and therefore the buyer should NEVER gift.

Not to kick anybody while they’re down, but this feels like a really “duh!” moment.

Text app
Venmo
Super cheap prices

I hope for all your sakes I’m wrong, but until then, duh.

Edit: it does feel weird that he’d bother to post up or have a screen shot of his account though.
I don’t know, I’m torn. Fingers crossed for you guys.

I want to point out that he said "mate" in an above post. This means he is either British or Australian.

If he is British it means he is classy but has terrible teeth.

If he is Australian it means he has the most annoying accent ever invented but probably a hot sister.

Take from that what you will...

I don't ever deal with anyone with no feedback or a new join date on any forum,,,, never forget the little runt in Michigan who snaked a barrel kit from me and when I did get his phone number (by registering and posting in every Michigan forum and mentioning his name until someone who knew him contacted me) his mom told me that's what I get for selling stuff to minors who don't have jobs and then hung up after I called her a white trash POS mother!!!

I will gift money but key thing is feedback and join date and if they don't have those then no deal no matter how good it is,,,I hope I'm wrong but this seller looks fishy and if it is then learn from this.

Well at least $150 is a relatively cheap way to learn that lesson. I've seen way worse.
