I really want to find someone who has put this into an Alien Independence, I am of the understanding that it will just drop in.

Any ideas?

Very nice, May I ask how you are setting up your barrel. Tight fit or overbore? Interested in hearing more. I'm pretty sure farting is from springs not properly matched.
As for tests
I'm curious if the low operating pressure affects it towards the end of a tank. I use a 13ci so I get to this point often. It's has a delrin hammer right? So does it still vent down the barrel when low in the tank any more than before?

My setup currently is a 14 inch stella barrel with a .680 back and a .689 front. And when my tank is low the velocity drops but the Hanmer will not hold the valve own for it to vent down the barrel.

If you know anyone with an independence put me in contact with them and I'll do my best to make that happen.

You can play. Maybe not well. You'll fit in fine.

Thanks for this post I am very curious about this product!!

I even had to back my ivg out a little bit (from flush)
Is that with the hammer spring you had in before or did you put a lighter one in? If a little bit is a half turn (how much did you have to back it out?) that does not seem like the valve has much of an affect on changing the lightness of the pump stroke where the hammer spring is in concerned.

Did the gun sweetspot at 200psi before, then sweetspot at 160psi after or did you have to lower the input pressure to 160psi to get the velocity to come back down to 280?

Do you have a video of any of your aarow gun eliminations?

TSK,
Yes I am using the stock hammer spring.
The IVG is about half a turn out from flush.
The valve will have no affect on the pump stroke, only the hammer will because the pump is moving that, the valve is stationary. The differences in pump stroke between the delrin and stainless hammer are negligible.
Sweetspotting the sniper is really east since it's designed to work with the IVG flush.
With the stock valve mine shot 280 with an operating pressure of about 200 psi.
I had to turn the pressure down to 160 psi and back out the IVG half a turn to get my velocity under 280, at 200 psi it was shooting 335 fps.

Lastly, no I don't have any video of the airrow gun, just the fallen tears of my opponents that got gogged by a bow.

Sounds like it really does what it claims. I am thinking instead of turning down the input pressure to lower the velocity one could put in a lighter hammer spring and so get a lighter pump stroke. Going from 280 fps to 335 fps is a big jump, and it may sweet spot to give an even higher fps jump.

If you use the stock hammer and a MUCH lighter spring then yes maybe if your intended goal is to have a pump that can be moved with the wind, me personally I'm fine with how it is right now, quiet and smooth.

I just bought a morph valve for a trilogy pump build, it arrives next week. I hope it works as well as your results!

Does anyone know if I can use the Inception Designs hammer with the morph valve?

It is basically the same as a stock hammer with a longer slot. maybe a bit heavier.

My issue with the morph was when the hammer was at rest with out a ball in the breach it wouldn't seal. I was running the stock hammer with a lighter spring.
