Axe pro + spring feed

Would a trracer style spring feed fit directly onto a 2015+ axe pro? Such a thing would be very attractive to an individual like myself.

Trracer no, empire sniper yes.

I totally like where you are going with this....

I'll be designing a springfeed for the Mini for my next batch of Pheeds. It should also work with the Axe. I think I can make it either index on the feedneck insert piece or just float above the breech, held in place on the barrel using two clamping rings.

Apoc4lypse - my vote is for the feedneck route. I'd love to slap one on a ULE mag.
Tuana - You could check out Nummech's empire springfeed adapters until Apoc has his ready to go. Think I have one of the feeds sitting in a box somewhere...

Here's the version of the Mini SpringPheed that mounts on the feedneck insert. I had to make it taller than I'd've liked to clear the lip of the insert, but I'll experiment with bringing it farther down. It tightens to the insert via a set screw going through the back of the mount.

I like it. Just found your website. Nice work.

The spring feed with magnetic trap door is a sweet design to load.

I might have to check out one.

Is there a way to use the same spring feed on both a mini and phantom?

apoc4lypse 11-18-2017 07:27 PM

The tube itself is universal but you'd have to buy a different set of mounts and rings to work with the Phantom ($30).

That looks pretty slick, APOC. I like that setup a lot.
