Want to have your Shockwave board lowered to 5.5 ball per second?
I reached directly to G.I. Sports who helped me in February 2019 to take an existing Shockwave board and lower the lowest setting from 8.0 to 5.5 bps. I used the capped semi at one trigger pull on the Shockwave board to set the 5.5 bps cap and confirmed on a chronograph.
To confirm, I contacted G.I Sportz in Indiana at...

Corey confirm to me that, “Going forward we will start to implement the 5.5 bps standard into the newer products. It may take a while to get there but that is our plan.“ In the meantime we can work with G.I. Sportz support to flash the shockwave board for the Empire and Invert Mini version 1-3 as well as Axe markers using the shockwave board.
These electronic markers are becoming very common with Invert Minis priced under $150 and most modifications or improvements costing $30 or less. The Axe is a larger frame and commonly sold used at $200-$250 for a marker with modifications falling under $50 each. Working with G.I. Sportz you can take a very reliable marker in the past and use it in the new lower balls per setting tournament play events.
