I am not sure that I would even attempt to run a GLO right now after how weak attendance was at OXP last year. We would need a lot of promotion!

I still have all the resources. If someone wants to put in the work I am more than happy to help

I think 300z's SC days were pretty awesome. Maybe they could fill the pump need and the GLO could morph into a limited paint tourney open to all guns OR run an open class pump tourney with no paint limit.

Those SC days were pretty low numbers this past year as well. With official OSC at Crazy Bills this year it may be even harder to get bodies.

I have to admit, the attendance at the last sc game was crushing. We were expecting the standard 20 or so (18 confirmed) and we ended up with 9 (one gun went down which put us to 8 for a good chunk of the day). When you get into these uncomfortably low numbers, it's not really the same.

I don't know what went wrong - was it cool at first but is now becoming stagnant? There was actually a walk on group that day that many of the regulars joined instead of th sc day. Or maybe everyone just coincidentally had other commitments that day?

I love the sc days and can't understand how others don't love them but at the end of the day, it's the people that drive the demand.

On the topic of GLO - I would be happy to do it, but nothing is worse (for me) than putting on an event and not knowing if anyone will show up.

If we really push, advertise, recruit, and plug - we could/should try another stock class day for sure. But I want the turn out to be such that it makes your heart warm. It was the best day of 2014 for me.

My lessons learned. Search for events at PRZ and other popular events in Ottawa and avoid those weekends by at least two weeks if possible.

Do one early in the year and one late. Don't try for too many. People like them for the novelty not as a norm.

Advertise the snot out of them and get popular personality support.

I don't think they should be needed...but prizes draw people out.

Perhaps if you guys plan a stock class day early enough ahead of time some of us could try to plan a trip up to America's hat to play on your turf.
