How is the weight with the sleeve and handguard removed?

I will admit, the guard and barrel sleeve were lighter than I expected. I really need to get some digital kitchen scales!

I reckon you can half the weight of it though. That gas block is just unnecessary though, I wish the hadn't put that on. For such an expensive marker, it would have been nice to be able to remove the location rails though. Luckily, there are sooooo many options from cheap to crazy prices.

I want to get rid of the slip ring on it between the body and the handguard though.

I have seen the Armalite pistol handguard, and it looks amazing. Also... The more I look the more I like the look of the slightly longer handguards lol. Trouble is is prefer more carbine style markers as the reality is most engagements in paintball are short to medium range so it pays to be compact.

Honestly, I am not sure on the direction of this yet, still recovering from buying the marker and four extra mags lol. My wife is awesome btw, and assisted with the purchase. Love her.

As a side note, there look to be a couple of people doing bolt sleeves that do away with the T15 barrel, and allow AC orA5 barrels directly without an adapter and fixes an alignment problem apparently. Really interested in these and trying to get one so I can then either use my AC barrels or get an AC freak back and go that route.

Received my barrel adapter, and can now use autococker barrels. Only thing about barrel adapter is that now there is quite a tapered 'step' in the firing system now.

Anyway.. using my Armson rifled barrels so will see how they perform with some FSR and round ball. Looking forward to it.

Still haven't got a new guard, and no chance really of getting one ahead of time as money is tight thanks to me spending so much on this marker. Not quite sure what I want to do about it yet, will think of something.

The Armson barrel is rifled to rotate the opposite direction as a FSR. It won't really matter for round stuff, but you'll probably not have a great time with FSR.

In my experience, the reversed rifling in an Armson barrel has no ill effect on FSR performance vs a smooth bore barrel. If you plan to shoot both roundball and FSR, the Armson will serve you well.

I want to get a decent barrel but....

The Lapco T15 is too tight @ .683. Makes the gun much less efficient... I dislike that, just because I hate things that aren't efficient lol. But I may end up with it anyway.

The HH barrels are good I hear with rounds balls and FSR @ .686 and MUCH more efficient as not too tight.

Also looking at the Milsig Stalker barrel, but that means I'd need to use an A5 adapter as well, and that's back to the whole tapered transitions in the barrel thing again.

----------

Really not certain of what I should get, I just seriously wish lapco would have made a .685 or .686 fsr barrel that is a direct fit.

Hmm... one thing though... I wonder if it would be worthwhile to have a 'ring' made up to fill that gap between barrel tapered lip and the breach?

Lapco is pretty determined that their barrel is the most accurate setup for FS.
I wouldnt even try regular paint through it.

i doubt stepped boring with an adapter would make any difference. The length is so short, also HH barrels you have the fin adapter anyways and that setup seems to work really well as far as efficiency.
