As far as I am aware it is a custom H7.

Only issue I would kinda have on the 98C bolt platform is harshness on the projectile during firing sequence. The 98C isn't the most gentle on paint and I have found the stock detents to be a help or hindrance on the situation, add some mag fed systems into the mix it could add extra wobble to the shot. Not only that, as the 98C sits stock, it is unregulated allowing for some variance in velocity effecting your elevation accuracy.

Still, I have seen custom made FS 98C platforms perform quite well and would say it will get you in the game and be competitive. Plus with the Blizzard at the $200 base price point it is kinda hard to reject a reliable FS platform that will shoot when ever you pull the trigger and has a mechanical anti chop installed. You may not be as accurate as the ones double or more the price, but you can still pop a target if you need to.

I literally have all of the mags, scopes, bipods etc I would just change the barrel.

Meh... I don't think bolt smack really affects it too much or at all.
What kills FSR is the loading... it's all about the loading. Any flip or turn and the fins get shredded, jamming the gun. This is the single most important part.

Any marker can shoot an FSR, technically speaking. Just might have to muzzle load.

I've not see an FSR crack from a cleanly fired bolt. I have re-used an FSR about 10 times in testing and eventually it did start to break apart... but that isn't normal use of 1 time shooting.

I also recall an argument about the 98 action being relatively gentle on paint due to paintball magix.

I have a Blizzard with a Lok Bolt and everything I need to shoot FSR. However, up until now, all I've shot with it is roundball. I'd be interested to hear how other people do with FSR though.

I have an upcoming recommendation for FSR shooting that will take 99.9% of the headaches away. More soon.
