How many is enough?

Im hitting the field next weekend and sort of want to know how many fs i will need. I will be playing pump and am debating zeroing in a scope to pair but have never used fs out of 3 shots.

Any ideas?

You'll need half as many FS from what you'd bring in paintballs. Assuming your playing sneaky and aiming your shots. A well zeroed optic for the ranges you'll be at you could use even less.

If you play moderately aggressive and shoot a lot, 250 FSs should make it through the day.

That's my experience at larger games.
You can always shoot more but you tend to get people out in 3 shots when dialed in, so less to shoot at lol.

I shoot bolt action FSR and play pump with round ball.

If I shoot FSR all day, I usually soot around 100 rounds.
I have done as low as 50 shots for the day.
Also count about 20 rounds to zero a scope.

For reference, I shoot 300-400 ball all day pump and about twice that semi all day.

I dunno about that half thing. Im a big sneaker, low crawler and mobility man. 1v1 are not my thing most of the time and i plan to use fs for large events only as small games dont need that.

I think think 100-200 MAYBE if i need too. I go through like 3 pods at worst on mech as a lot of that is just “head down” shooting. I plan to build my play around fs and maybe do less face to face combat. The main thing is now i kinda want a secondary as a backup.

Huh.

For large games a secondary is nice, I have used my K-framed PMI-1 in a scabbard on my back as a backup ...

But semi pistol is nice ... And for close quarter it's easy/practical. The TiPX works well, the umarex revolver is even better

But it always comes down to preference.

250 lasts me a 2 day game usually. 1 to 2 shots to hit someone is my goal.
