Try a ketogenic diet. High in healthy fats like avacados and nuts, along with healthy meats like chicken and fish along with plenty of green veggies and skip most (if not all) of the carbs. I have been on it for about a month and it is pretty great. No real hunger between meals, good energy, as well as decent weight loss.

I highly recommend working on diet first, then moving towards exercise.

Maybe you don't drink alcohol, but if you do kick beer all together. It tastes delicious and makes you feel great on the inside, but it makes you a fat kid with no motivation on the inside.

Honestly, I am trying my best at the moment to salvage my marriage, before it terminates.. this has taken a back seat.

Well... FINALLY decided to do something about it. I started casually with my diet a few months ago, and just reduced the amount of snacking at the office I was doing, and tried to cut down my portions to about half (Which was way too much before).

A few weeks ago I also started kick-boxing (more of a casual bag hitting thing tbh) at the same gym as my wife. At my heaviest I was 205llbs, where as previously when I was cycling every day I was 165llbs a few years back.

I am now between 185 and 188llbs depending on when I weigh myself. I am pretty pleased with that, although I reckon I need to loose at least 10 more pounds to get my jawline back and drop the double chin lol.

I don't have a weight problem (6'5", 162lbs). My metabolism burns up pretty much whatever I put in my body. But I'll tell ya- I was the most out-of-shape skinny guy out there. And it only got worse when we had our second kid. I started getting bigger in my midsection and my endurance pretty much bottomed out.

So I cut my processed sugar by about 3/4 (still gotta have my chocolate ), jacked up my water intake, and took up calisthenics. I have a tough time sticking with lifting, but calisthenics keeps me coming back for more. I haven't gained much muscle or lost any weight after #2 showed up, but I've toned up and, for the most part, got my endurance back. Calisthenics man. Good stuff.

Keep it going Scougar. You're doing great.

Went for my yearly medical. I'm 188llbs, and cholesterol is 'moderate risk' Bugger.

4 years ago (in UK) I was in really good shape with good figures. Gotta figure out that cholesterol crap though.
