Been there, tried that.

Maybe next year.. maybe when I hit 200...

Belly fat is a man killer, my friend.

It's like Russian roulette. You may hit 200 and be fine other than feeling more sluggish and unmotivated. Or maybe you find yourself with a fatty liver, diabetes, sexual disfunction, et al.

If nothing else, get out and take a brisk evening walk at night. Anything is better than nothing.

dude, I tried to buckle into my snowboard a few weeks ago (first time of the year) and all of a sudden there was a belly nearly blocking my way. I mean, I'm 5'9" and 180 lbs, im not -fat- but definitely have it and a beer gut for sure. I just dont know how people that would weigh more than me can do things without a gut being in the way. It freaked me out, honestly.

I like to start every scenario game by asking who the "brisk walkers" are.

I see a private trainer twice a week and hit the gym on Saturday, so I am already pretty fit, but I need to get that 6-pack for Portugal in July! Little less body fat and I'm there! <2 tickets to the gun show>

I gained ~20 pounds last spring, when I quit my standing up job at Lifetime Fitness, and started working a desk job at a hospital.
I was working both jobs at the same time for ~75 hours per week for about 3 months.
The stress and excessive energy drinks threw off my sleep pattern and made me want to eat like crazy.
I hate to think about how much muscle mass I've actually lost.

Good news though, the hospital is remodeling its gym to 3x it's original size.
I've rode my bike to work(7.5 miles) 3 times and almost got hit every time by people who don't want to stop at stop signs even though I have a front and back light that are more blinding than a car's and wear reflective gear.

So I'm waiting for Revolights Eclipse+ - Pre-Order to finally come out and for the gym to get finished.
And Pokemon Go is supposed to get a Gen2 update, so I'll be running around the neighborhood too.

Your brain does burn the most calories on average, so thinking is a start.

I'd really like to participate with the goal of gaining, honestly I'm a twig right now and have trouble adding any weight at all, whether it's healthy or unhealthy weight. Unfortunately I've heard you have to eat an insane amount to afford yourself the calories to burn during a workout when you have a high metabolism, and I can't really afford (money wise) the 6 meal a day lifestyle. Maybe when I get my new job at the end of this semester, or it might just be a next year thing when money is more stable

Through gym and careful eating, I'm down 45lbs from last December. Started at 237, now 192 and 16.5%bf. Working my way down to 10% hopefully.
