Another new toy Harley

You may have noticed I had to sell one of my babies abruptly. Well, that was because, on a whim, I bought a 1994 HarleyDavidson Sportster with hardtail kit.

As she sits now:

883 with a chain conversion I presume?

Those are good running bikes. The only issue I ever had with mine was a "nosebleed".

I’m quickly realizing how in over my head I am without the knowledge of welding.

The immediate to-do list is:

- Weld a tab somewhere on the frame and remount the rear caliper so I can run a hose easier and bleed the brakes.
- Run said hose w/ banjo bolt pressure switch for brake light.
- Have two tabs welded on the the sissy bar, mount a brake light and wire it in.
- ChanGe oil
- Go through whole bike and make sure each but and bolt is tightened.
- Register/Insure it... maybe.
- Hook up breathers and oil hose back to tank

long term to-do list:
- Clean up and paint frame
- Get a nicely painted gas tank and fender
- Maybe add a small speedometer
- Maybe a King/Queen seat
- Clean up wiring- it’s sort of just hanging out there.

We’ll see. Will update as I go. Good luck to you FatMan.
