Me, high B.P and T.V
I'm sitting here before I go to the doc to see why my b.p is so freaking high<166/83>. Watching I.D.f shell the hell out of Hezbalah or how the heck you spell it. I don't think watching that will help it..much.I guess me giving blood often helps more then I thought. That was on Thursday,Monday it was 144/83 when I went to get fitted for a resperator for work. Hmm, I wonder it because I haven't played in so long.
Not playing in a while plays a part (exercise) as does eating habits (mine personally are getting better), plus the extra paintball padding many of us carry around 24/7 has some effect too. Stress plays a real big part - work, Middle East war that's brewing, folks asking if you've heard from Mark on the new Sterlings (got your message the other day, BTW, just haven't called back yet). Sounds like Keith and the boys need to drag your hinnie out again and play some ball for some stress relief! Carter's place on Hwy 58 sounds good.....
High blood pressure? Buddy of mine had a similar problem.
Cut back on your sodium intake.
Relaxation techniques/deep breathing excercises.
Lower fat intake.
Found out from the doc Friday it was from the clairton-d,genes and the screwheads @ work. Thanks guys, The only thing was running thru my head at the doc's was my little girls. Hmmm and I thought people were full of it when they say"everything changes after kids".
Well, twins CAN be stressful! ;) Clairiton-D was part of the problem? Interesting, I'll need to take a look at what I'm using for allergies.
Brewtt's absolutely right on the sodium. My dad used to salt everything before he even tasted it. Ended up with pretty high blood pressure, so he had to cut sodium almostly completely out of his diet. It worked and he's down to normal levels - helped that he lost a lot of weight too.
There are some meds made with a different composition that will not cause the bp increase. Corecedin (sp?) HBP is one.
