I'm a programmer so I constantly get slightly sweaty when the AC doesn't kick on soon enough. On bad days I'll accidentally get a little coke spilled on me. Coke stains are the worst!

Used to work as a home insulation/drywall guy for about a year. The worst was doing attics. You blow it in using a hose type system. If you're the guy in the truck loading the hopper you get dirty as hell from slitting the bags open and loading them as fiberglass particulate sticks to you from being so sweaty. If you're up in the attic working the hose you get covered in fine white/yellowish dust. That job sucked and the guy I worked with eventually wanted me to do something illegal (chick left us no key to get into a house or number to call her and he wanted me to break into the house using a basement window so we could work) which I used as a great excuse to leave.

Now I work doing network support for a fundraising company. It's not dirty from a physical sense but I've seen people surfed some really really nasty things on the work machines on breaks/lunches or before the shift starts. What has been seen can not be unseen *shudder*

I presently work as a traffic control flagger. My typical work sites are with Asplundh tree service and you can get pretty filthy when the wind comes your way and they're cutting down trees. Sawdust from trees with pitch still in 'em is pretty sticky stuff. Thankfully I don't get hit with that often. I've also worked with paving crews, and that's where you get real filthy. When you have to follow a road tack truck on foot to keep people off of the road tack you pick a lot of it up, and it makes a pretty nasty mess.
