It's not just other countries.I looked for the graphic I wanted but can't locate it.I read an article some years back about places you can go to here in the US,and be exposed to live ordnance.Most of it world war stuff.Especially you people up through the Appalachian corridor.Seems lobbing artillery into the hills was pretty common place training.There were places all over though,and many more that I thought.Around I dozen a think.I was kinda dumbfounded.Really wish I could turn up that pic.

Unexploded ordinance is a problem the world over. I read an article in National Geographic recently that talked about the efforts to remove land mines that were sown over Cambodia during the 60s to 80s, millions of them. Many regions in the country are finally starting to prosper because farmers can actually work the land without fear of death or injury.
