Personally i love the look and feel of the FNP 45, i wish the mag notch that holds it in wasn't so small and i wish it was on the sides and that there was one on each side but oh well.

(edit: i don't own one but my friend, after spending copious mounts of time trying to do so, was able to get his hand on one of these bad boys. I had the pleasure of shooting it twice. Awesome pistol).

So far my favite...problem is, I want more... :gunsfiring:

Ah, missed the .45 bit somehow. Most pistols I find incredibly boring as they all generally look and feel the same with 3 variations.

The Heizer Defense DoubleTap looks nice, though I personally have not fired it. I have tried a similar one that used an AK round though. If you need something concealed for defense then you probably can't do better as they are near impossible to mess up and sit beautifully in a coat pocket.

.45 just sits in a strange spot for me. Not nice enough to conceal or use for target shooting, and not enough bite to really deal with a major threat reliably. (Threat for me would be a charging grizzly, or similar). I personally suggest the Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in .454 Casull or .480 Ruger but that is a revolver. Well, cannon might be a better name for it...

May I ask the reason the OP is set on .45ACP?

That DoubleTap looks awfully difficult to grip and aim though. It's like a block of wood.
