It starts off as a way to quit smoking, then for some people it becomes a hobby. You can easily tinker with them(which definitely resonates with certain users on this site).

I can understand how it may appear out of the norm for many people, but alot of that is because tobbaco was the norm for so long.

I replaced my paintball buying with vape buying... Got me off the cigs so that's a plus but did not save money in the process lol. 7 mods and 7 atomizers all authentic and a few random clones.

nothing wrong with that, its just not for you then. some people think that pb is weird and cant understand why we play even though it hurts. it just clicks for us. i didnt use it to quit smoking, but for some people, thats their reason to start vaping. besides nicotine, there arent any harmful chemicals in the e juice. just food flavoring and some friendly vegetable glycerin to make vapor. its just another hobby for a lot of us. i like to tinker. others like the flavor and others like making big clouds. its just different.

I'll be honest, aside from two batteries and a charger I haven't actually spent any money on Vaping. I have been looking at the Hammer mods though. They seem pretty cool but that'll mean new batteries as well.

new batteries, a new charger (if you use ego batteries), the mod itself and maybe a tank. i just like collecting different types of mods. its like paintball buying, but cheaper so i can grow my collection faster.

Main problem is the stuff moves so fast. A new tank or new version comes out like once a month. Stuff I've had for 3-4 months is grossly outdated now. Honestly I like the more "simple" mods. I don't want to have to build 4 coils and use a foot of wick just to build it. Most of the basic pre-built dual coil stuff is pretty mediocre IMHO. The kanger stuff just burns out or quits wicking quicker. I need reliability, not iffy or degrading performance.

Interested in seeing how you like the KF. I have a clone and just not a huge fan. I do like bottom coil RBAs vs drippers or gennies though. Next one I pick up is probably going to be a Taifun.

I still smoke unfortunately. Vaping has allowed me to cut down a lot but haven't dropped it completely. And yeah, don't think I've saved anything by vaping... lol

Are there any other diy juice makers here? With a mere 50 dollars I can make over 500 ml using usp grade VG or PG. The bigger you buy, the more the savings rack up. I could never justify going back to regular cigarrettes after vaping.

Right now I'm using a knockoff Caravela mod with a knockoff Helios RDA (Won't mention the brand names or the company because of some details I'm not comfortable sharing on a public forum).

I'm running a single coil made up of 3 strands of 30 guage Kanthal A1 that's wicked with organic cotton. Juices depend on which vape shop I visit from week to week. I'm probably going to wind up grabbing a Kayfun tank soon enough.
