While in Paris, look out for dog s**t. It is everywhere. No one picks up after their pets. Even if it is in the middle of the sidewalk.

Spent a week or so there, being French helped but not much.
Don't expect to see many Parisians, it's ALL tourists.
I did the typical things:
-louvre
-moulin rouge
-butte monmartre
- Eiffel Tower
- arche de triomphe

They're all worth taking a peek at.

Something I completely missed and regret is not going through the catacombs. A buddy I work with told me about it and it sounded amazing.

He suggested going in the early morning to skip the lineups and the rush through tours.

there is a major lookout sight called "Sacre Coeur" which at night you can see the eiffel tower. pretty nice spot. You can get crepes, painting portraits of yourself, its pretty cool.

There is also Versailles, Site officiel du château de Versailles - Château de Versailles

if you look around when you get there you can find some interesting "small" tours. we found a davinci code tour which showed the inconsistencies of the book and some of the neat stuff associated with it.

the louvre is very big, too much to appreciate in even one day. I think I spent a whole day there and literally had to race through one section.
