Anyone in the Salt Lake City area?

Im on Vacation and staying at a friend's house. He had to work today and I'm bored and have no idea what to do. So far, Utah is proving to be a pretty boring place.
Figured I'd turn to MCB and if this fails, day drinking it is.

Find a trail, go on an adventure. Drive down to Moab and go for a long walk or bike ride if you have to. You shouldn't need to go that far though, my understanding is that there are some good trails right outside Salt Lake City.

I live here. What do you enjoy? Park City is 30 mins away. You kind of arrived in a slow season as everything is transitioning from summer to winter season.

I wanted to go to Moab so badly after wheeling it back in 2010. However, it's about five hours away and not on the way to Vegas. Depending on how this Vegas thing plays out though, maybe I'll just here.

The problem is, I'm without a car and proper footwear. We did Oktoberfest yesterday at snowbird. I may Uber to the city itself, but even that didn't seem to offer much excitement. I guess for now I'm going to head over to Starbucks (it's across the street) and kill time.

Tomorrow we're supposed to head about an hour and a half south and rent ATV's in the sand dunes. Know anything about that?

Little Sahara is pretty sweet. Kind of crummy the weather is bad when you hit town otherwise there are some sweet trails to hit

Go to Temple Square if you're interested in religious history. There are plenty of cool hikes around the area. Lots to do, depending on what you're interested in.

I was told about this. Right now I'm sitting at a Starbucks (which was hellish to find because this shopping plaza is a maze) trying to figure out rental options for tomorrow.
I'm going to head back to the apartment (try to) in a few and see if the other schmuck woke up yet.

Not this week, it's General Conference and it will be a mad house. Any other time, sure.

Conference is over. All the pandemonium should be over. Come to think of it though, it might be closed on mondays...
