Finally found all my equations. Thank you leap frog

Ok, for some of you, you may remwmber about 6 months ago i was missing around with some velocity and acceleration ideas. Well, i was reading my physics book from last year because i was bored and i found some really cool equations from leaping frogs that answer a ton of paintball questions for me haha.

I can now find velocity based off of how far a round flies and at what angle i launch it at. Time is not needed because of a trig identity substitution that takes care of delta t.

Yes friction is still a factor but i will deal with that later. For now, im excited haha.

Here is one of them. I will show how i derived it.

Distance = (v^2)sin(2a)/g

Solve for v and you get

Velocity = sqrt((-g)(d)/sin(2a))

This will give you velocity of your paintball right at t=0.0001 seconds. I will show how t is substituted into the equation.

So far all my calculations are spot on for my tests. Granted this equation is not mine. Its newtons haha but it works

Ok. Here are the calculations. I hope people can follow along. I tried a video but it sounded weird because im trying to whisper so not to wake people. It didnt work. So i did it all by hand and took pics.

Bare in mimd, this does not include friction or the magnus effect at all. Assume a non friction barrel
