Can you give me more info on this? I wanted to build a bolt action but not a Remington 700 based one.

Are they new parts or vintage?

You can do either.

I typically use surplus Mauser 98 actions from rifles that have already been "bubba'ed" and strip it down.

Then I buy a new barrel and stock and fit it all together.

Hopefully the action wasn't already drilled and tapped for scope mounts because I like to do it myself so they are straight.

The other way it to buy a new commercial action such as the Mark X from Zastava Serbia and avoid all the conversion gunsmithing that I do.

Larry at Midway has a ton of videos on the process.

I've got the Varmint Kevlar 527 in .223 with a Leupold 12x fixed.

Also have owned the 527 Lux in 223 and a 550 varmint in 22-250.

The set triggers are sweeeeeet.

I sold that one and want to get a 527 American Synthetic for suppressor use. Just haven't yet. Because clone life.
