I've said it before: The mods here suck.

That is excellent! That is what a community is for!

We're glad to have you back, especially to have you back and in a better way. I remember vaguely what you are talking about, but only that "Oh snap things are bad for Punkncat" I think it was a LOT of family drama, and financial stuff? The risk you run into when looking for feedback is that: a) sometimes feedback is accurate and unpleasant b) sometimes feedback is terrible and mean, or c) Sometimes it is just from idiots. It can be hard communicating with someone who is in a bad way, because sometimes they aren't themselves.

Glad you are here though, and that things have gotten smoother!

Glad I could help! Crummy stuff happens, depression sucks, and it's a bad time of year to have to go through any of it...

BUT

You're never alone and things really do get better. ****ty things do happen, but situations improve, counseling really does help, and if it's a chemical imbalance making you feel down, that can be treated, too! There's absolutely no shame to needing help now and then. And if you don't have a good enough support group locally, we're always glad to help on here.

This goes to anyone feeling down or lonely this holiday season: shoot me a message if you need a friend to chat with, whether you want to discuss deep thoughts about life or nothing at all. Hey, let's talk about paintball even!

Forums are not always great for holding a conversation, and sometimes a conversation is what you need in order to exchange the necessary amount of information, and make the necessary clarifications.

If you make yourself vulnerable, you make yourself vulnerable. Sometimes people will be ****ty, whether intentional or not. But in the process, you found good people, and I would encourage you to focus on that aspect.

I am going to interrupt all those warm fuzzies to sour grape just a bit. When I went through a damned rough patch a few years back, posting things that in retrospect I probably should not have here...using the forum like a psychiatrist, there were several members and a couple of mods that didn't miss the opportunity to kick me right in the nuts and say some pretty ****ty things to/at me. I think it turned out to be a good thing as I am much more careful about what I post here now, I know to hold this place at arms length.

In spite of that, there were still a few people who offered terrific support and had nice things to say. It's good to know that when you have a friend a reach out like this is possible through this group. I hope you (all) helped this individual through the rough patch. The holidays can be a bear for many.

A great resource for someone standing on the edge.

It's good to refer back to or share via the internet.
