Who knows Drones? The short story is, my wife has a friend. Who apparently isn't very honest or financially wise. She crashed her husband's drone while he was away. Put it in the original box, gave it to my wife to "get rid of the evidence" and bought a new one. So now I have a broken drone to play with. It's a yunteec q500 typhoon. I can turn it on. It doesn't seem to pair correctly. I have no charger cables and can't find any charger cables. So my troubleshooting time is limited because I don't want to kill the batteries. Who's got the knowledge?

Message this guy on YouTube, and I will let him know of your question as well. He’s a member on here but not very active. He is currently building a custom drone and is just starting his channel
His handle on here is Gascolator
May the way of the Hero lead to the Triforce.

Not familiar with that one, but I know on the Mavic Drone there are a couple of dummy switches. What I mean is, if you don't press the button the correct way, it won't turn on properly. So if you didn't read the instruction that far, it won't let you play with it.
I know nothing of that quadcopter, so I'm not help, but it doesn't look like a bad one.

I build and fly my own, but don't know the Q500 specifically. There are probably Pairing, Calibration, and Arming steps you can go through.
Do you have any red icons on the controller?

I think it is pretty hilarious that the wife was playing with her husband's toys while he was away. I wonder if he does the same when she is gone...

Don't know anything about that one or its batteries. If it is intended to be charged via cord and not via separate battery charger, it will probably be standard micro USB.
Once you have it paired and ready, don't underestimate the importance of having clean props. If there's any significant nicks or bends, replace them.

This looks like it might be the right battery charger?
