Other projectiles

Know what would be cool? Something that has same mass as a paintball, maybe a little less, is .68 cal plus or minus some, is solid like foam, and you can buy 3000 for $20. Then you can play indoors and not have it make a mess. Cost is effective, oh and they work in a cyclone or rotor style hopper.. Just sayin

Pretty sure they don’t have the same mass as a paintball. Pulse the open design would make getting velocity up to speed a problem. Not really sure tho they are a cool consept

Reballs are the closest thing I believe that were made but now people charge out he butt for them say a guy go said he had 1000 and wanted for trade for a cocker. But wasn’t willing to offer all he was sellink I think 250 for $50 a pop.
In my opinion
3000 for $20 would kinda screw over the company that produced them they would have to make the production cost less than .33 of a cent to have a some what reasonable profit margin would cost about 9.9 to produce the batch. Plus as soon as someone buys 3000 there would almost never be a need for more haha.

It would be Awsome if it was fisable not sure what material would work tho pretty much a pipe dream tho haha

Here is some more math for you. A paintball is supposed to weigh around 3.4 grams so 3.4 x 3000= 10200 grams or 22.48 pounds. Would be pretty difficult to find a material that would work for that cheap haha

I Definetly over thought this but oh well haha

I've been wanting to try printing something like this. It seems like a pretty simple design, just need some flexible filament for the printer...

Can't forget tooling costs and if they have someone else make them then there will probably be a set up cost as well (plus labour and their own markup), and then you have distributors with shipping costs and their own overhead+profit... packing, etc.

Use the biodegradable version of packing peanut material with a pellet of frangible chalk inside for mass, so the company has repeat customers when it breaks down due to moisture or after good hard impacts.

It would be awesome for CQB if it were lower impact, and easy cleanup.
