Get out of here Zack Snyder, 300 wasn't that good.
DC doesn't want you, we don't want you either.

The roller diggers were silly. There were no signs they used these on any other planet, and I doubt Thanos & Co had enough time to research Wakanda's defenses in the few minutes Vision & Co arrived.

I loved the Kibyness of the spacecraft design.

My prediction for where it picks up in part 2 is that Nebula and Tony take Star Lord's ship to the planet of the golden douche bags because Nebula is aware of them creating Adam Warlock as the Anti-Thanos.

Apparently Tom Holland improvised his death scene. Great acting there from him and RDJ.

But.... everyone, and I mean everyone is expected some sort of do-over deus ex machina.

I still loved that ending despite that. Much of the movie seemed like the fight highlights from 3 other movies, all squished together.

well yeah, of course - there will be another movie and some daring-do and mumbo jumbo and insert tech here means of bringing everyone back . . . because the happy ending is still the preferred one for most. I am happy that they were bold enough to go that deep in the massacre, to make each death in some way poignant, and to drive home the fact that thanos wiped out half of the sentient beings in existence

it can't be blake's 7 dark, because damn that series ended darkly - and definitively, with no turning back. the bad guys won, roll credits, end of story

I thoroughly enjoyed this, Gamora dying probably hit me the hardest followed by Spiderman. Wakanda/Black Panther kind of felt like they were just thrown in for good measure. Kind of baffling that Shuri could be the only one capable of removing the vision stone.

Is it? There's only a handful of major tech geniuses in the MCU. Stark was off-planet. Banner helped devise the theory to remove it (if I remember the film right?), Rocket shows up later. Not sure who else could do it that we've seen in the movies. Helen Cho from Age of Ultron, but she was only there to pander to the Asian market, so she doesn't count.

Wakanda's been shown to be way more advanced than anywhere else on Earth, and Shuri is the head of it's R&D, so it makes sense she'd be the most likely to take that role.

Eh, I guess you're right. Still felt like Wakanda was just 'there'
