It definitely did not fall in the 80s. Iíve seen it and was born in 87.

Maybe like 1999, 2000 or so.

Weird, didn't notice that. Must be because that's what we always call the place, and those fine folk from around those parts.

My parents are there so I visit... They keep telling me engineers get 150% of market due to the shortage in the technical fields. But Texas pays pretty well, too!

It's just quiet in the 'burbs. It's awesome. There's nature, people are not moving as quick so they have time to converse, it just has more of a small town feel.

Also as to engineers getting 150% market I am not sure my brother and I are both engineers and my salary doubled going to Massachusetts.

Good to hear! Does anyone in NH have any info on how the tech industry is? My wife is a web developer, currently learning more languages and back-end stuff, and I am getting into the IT field with hopes to grow into something like network engineering or database stuffs.

Recent thing... As in last few months. Rumors were machinists making six figures and mid - level engineers at the same, lots of larger companies poaching smaller. People I know were have trouble with retention in the face of it.
That said, I know Boston is nuts too.
