Fanny Packs

Are fanny packs popular on MCB? Quite a few threads about EDC stuff. Anybody using a fanny pack? They appear to be continually popular with the body builder community.

Joe rogan endorses them and has a huge following. He sells them on higher primate and from his podcast he says he can't keep them in stock.

My father in law wears one and it makes it hard for me to endorse it. Just not cool.

I usually just wear a light backpack if I really Need to carry stuff.

Wow. Those leather Rogan packs are $100+! On Amazon that are usually $10-$20.

Ya it's pretty expensive and he sells out often I guess, so there is a trend for it.

I know a couple mega EDC nerd types (meant in an endearing way) that swear by them.

I don't find myself needing to carry more stuff on a daily basis than what my jean pockets can handle so I don't really have a need for one.

It's a big no here, from the last few years when I was living in Australia, usually associated with real dickheads, mostly bikies (big crossover with the meathead gym thing) or wannabe types.
Although they do seem to be migrating towards handbags

Ah, yes... Before hipsters had murses, we had fanny packs.

Every time I see a fanny pack I think of my mom having a neon green one when we traveled in the early 90s. Unless it is for medical or job (medic/EMT), fanny packs should have died along with big hair and acid wash jeans.
