RIP Stephen Hillenburg

My kids grew up watching Spongebob. Hell, I even liked watching it with them. He will be missed.

That's too bad. My kid loved that show, so much I would watch it.

My wife would come home, I'd be on the TV watching spongebob and no kid around. She would always say "You can change the channel", but I'd want to see how it ended.

RIP Stephen Hillenburg

A sad day, this was a favorite of mine for awhile because my little brothers watched it a lot.

Hell, I'll admit it, I always said I hated the show but I actually rather enjoyed it. He was also instrumental in Rocko's Modern Life, another favorite of mine. He will be missed.
My Feedback (still growing!!)

Spongebob inspired 18 year old Bigtuana to stop living someone else’s story and live a beautiful life. Thanks Stephen!

I thought the first few season of Spongebob were pretty funny when they came out, then I rediscovered it when I started doodling with the jazz cabbage in college and I still love it.

Rest in peace Steve.

When my wife and I first got our own place, she would fall asleep to Nick at Nite every night. So on Saturday mornings we would wake up to spongebob and lay in bed for a wile and laugh at the silliness of it. I enjoyed it then, but neve expected it to go as long as it did.
My kids never really got into it but they will certainly watch it if its on (we don't have nickelodeon so that's the main reason I'd guess)

RIP Sir, you made a mark on pop culture that's for damn sure.
