If you have Lever Changer sealing issues...

Here's a tip if you are having sealing problems with your new ICD lever changer.

In my last batch of lever changers for my Phantom side-saddle air systems, I noticed that a few of the changers would not consistently seal against the face of the 12g.

I took them apart and compared them to the working lever changers and discovered that on the faulty ones, the milling inside the ASA housing was too deep. That meant the spring and floating pierce pin assembly had too much play, resulting in a loose/faulty seal.

To remedy this, I added some small washers to act as shims between the internal shoulder and the spring. It worked like a charm. This trick may also help if your 12g seal is worn down.

The original Line SI lever changers has some strange problems. Leland 12 grams would only seal without the seal, Crosmans, only with the seal.
