Project Puma... Iíll try to take it easy with the questions.

First question... Does anyone have any info on efficiency/shot count from a 13 ci/3000 psi tank on a Cat? More specifically, a Puma?

My Alleys and Thunders get 125+ with my Valken 13ci tank.

ETA: these things have a fairly narrow window of balance between function and velocity. Co2 or HPA tanks with a higher output pressure will give much more latitude.

Changing tanks around I have seen as much as a 40fps swing in velocity from the same gun.

That kind of matches an automag's mediocre efficiency, about 10 shots per cu. in.. I never got to the bottom of my 45/4500 on an Alley Cat. That tank was a 650 psi tank, with a large volume grip on the VASA. It still cycled with the recock screw all the way in, so it was getting some bolt pressure and/or leak by. That system is very interactive. Out of my three Alley cats, they have all been a little different in tuning.

125+ Isn’t bad at all!... It’s good to know that it’s an option.

When I play outdoors I like the 13ci tank because it is light and fast handling. I also tend to play limited paint a lot.

But when I play indoor airball I go with the 48/4500 and a bigger hopper.
