Cat on mid pressure hpa?

Iíve been thinking about picking up a Cat but my tank is set up for mid preasure. I donít want to change the output since it works well with all my other markers and Iím not interested in buying another tank just for a Cat. So, has anyone successfully run a Cat on 600-650 psi? If so, is it finicky?

Thanks!

I doubt it will work. You may be able to tune it to cycle, but your velocity will suck.

They were made during the Co2 era and need higher pressure.

The only chance is using an expansion chamber and drilling out the port size on the front ASA block.

Thanks for the link capitalpaintball! Looks like I'll have to pick one up. I haven't owned a blowback in quite some time and thought it might be fun to play with one once in a while.

I would only add that I think I had polished the hammer and hammer ring. I played a night game with that setup and it worked very well and is quiet. That type R fore grip has a large cavity inside, not just a thru hole.

It's from a Rex type-R, which was a cheap electro. They are similar to something else that I can't remember.

I got mine here long ago. I'm not seeing the pics anymore.
