CP vs Lapco Freak'd

Hey guys looking to get a Freak'd barrel for my Spyders by Stanchy. Just like the title says, looking for input on both.

CP's are less expensive but have more porting=quieter

Lapco are overall better barrels but if Freak'in it what makes it better than CP?

*mod's if in wrong forum please forgive and move*

TL;DR hole size controls how fast balls get spent

I looked into that. Then I would have to purchase a tip for it and the barrel would be a 3 piece system. I did a bit of research on it yesterday with guys Freak backing their Dye UL backs and discussions over having a 3 “stepped” barrel. A few guys were worried about high risk of breaks with the 3 steps , most the responses were that they shouldn’t worry about that as long as they were sizing the paint correctly.

Now if I am not mistaken the proprietary Freak back would eliminate one of these “steps” so it would only truly be a two piece system. At this point it is just personal preference to have a one piece barrel which takes Freak inserts. One of my preferences for this is the porting. Following the research/philosophies of Otter’s Customs I want to have a minimum non-ported barrel length of 8 inches to maintain velocity/FPS/consistency. I could be mistaken but I haven’t seen alot of two piece barrel tips of any brand that don’t start porting directly after the back.
