Hammer 7 Mag - Potential 5Rnd Run (56k users beware)

Hey guys,

So tinkering around with the 3D printer after work and made this:

They are 5 Round Mags for the Hammer, FSR capable. These are just a couple pics( at work.)

Right now I am experimenting with materials, may end up going to a manufacturer.

Would anyone be interested in a run of these mags?

Shooting for the $5-$10 range. Still tinkering with the design, but initial results are promising. Prototyping will continue until we are at a good point with quality

Hi How strong are these? I'm working on a drum mag and need something like this to connect the magwell to the drum.

This is rad. I'd likely be down for at least 5 or so if they work and such.

Current model is a bit too long on the top section of the mag as well as being a couple mm too wide inside the cavity for the stock Magazine "advancer" to move smoothly.

The design will incorporate springs that will be available via amazon or a similar online store, in case a user were to lose any of the springs (like I already have on the one I took apart).

Here is a comparison between all the mags I know of:

What is the point? Are the ten rounds not working properly?

Lighter load out? Designated FS mags? Personally, my intent is to make a bi pod feasible to use. The hammer 7 is the only mag fed set up I own so I can't speak for others, but trying to use a bi pod from anything but a standing position SUCKS with the mag hanging down like it does.

Melvin's spot on with his explanation: lighter load, fits in smaller pouches, lower cost per mag. The feel to it is quite nice as well.

The 3D printer resin material is on backorder for now... Should get more material at the beginning of May :'(

Here is a pic of how it sits in the marker:
