She lives! (EM1)

As I have been making my return to paintball in July (stopped playing, 2007) I'm slowly rebuilding all my main Spyders (and building my Spump...) My Hammer was first and now Emmie is back up and running!

When I machined my grip frame off around 2002 to add a double trigger, the meat on the bottom of the tray was really thin. I knew there was going to be a day where the back end screw would tear out the aluminum. It happened on July 4th. Didn't even have a chance to play with it. [emoji24]

I did a quick part modeling and printed a solid bracket to give a bunch of meat for the grip frame to snuggle up to the tray again. Slapped her all back together, aired up and got her to cycle.

Life is good.

A double trigger EM1, nice! It makes it look a lot like an Impulse.

Thanks! I'm not gonna have a chance to chrono it till I get to my next day out. I hope my Vigilante reg will hold up. Since it cycles, the orings are good enough for now. I hope they don't give when I adjust for velocity.

Here's a video of it cycling

Next up is to re-hose up my closed bolt Spyder. (Waiting on my cocker line to show up in the mail.)

Made friends with the local gun tech. Brought it in last time I was out just to show him it exists. He still doesn't believe it isn't more than a concept with a bunch of parts all cobbled on to a Spyder. It was my main tourney marker, even more than my EM1 back in the day! Definitely keep an eye out for those pics probably in the next couple of weeks.

Made a friction fit battery door. Haven't had one in there for over 10 years! LOL! Final version is in black.

Question for you, what is the reg connected to, what is the adapter?
I'd like to fit a different reg to my EM1 but wasn't sure how to do it.

Going from the tank... Drop forward/ASA > Steel braid hose > Vigilante Reg > BKO Standard ASA Adapter

Good luck finding one but it was like a 30 dollar part back in the day. Not sure where you'd earth one up now a days.
