I've got books that I want to read, but due to the upset in my schedule lately for the move of my house and my mom's, I'm still catching up on the magazines from the last 2 months I didn't have time to read. In addition, my brother-in-law has written another novel and I volunteered to be one of his beta readers, so I'm reading and critiquing his latest draft. And I'm also writing a short story of my own for the MCB writing contest.

But the next actual book I want to read? Second Contact by Harry Turtledove, the first book in the second half of his World War/Colonization series. Good stuff.

Don Quixote. Took a break to read The Two Towers after book one in Don Quixote, but now it's back to it.

I generally have both a fiction, and a non fiction going at once.

Currently rereading Max Brooks' "World War Z", and I am also about 1/2 way through Richard Dawkins' "The God Delusion".

Born4Evil seriously sounds like the devil himself, and its awesome. That gun is hands down the most badass gun in my mind.

Currently I'm reading the Furies of Calderon: First Lords Fury (book 6)

Pretty good series. I've been using Jim Butcher books as filler between other books.

Currently book 3 of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice (Game of Thrones) series, called A Storm of Swords.
So invested in the characters at this point (which he keeps killing off) I just want to finish.

In between each 1000+ page book I take a break with some Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett and Stan Nichols.

Probably by this weekend I'll be back to a bunch of Dark Sun D&D paper backs that I picked up from a book sale for a buck. After that, who knows. More paper backs or I might get a copy of Paolini's Inheritance for Xmass
Shoot first, check armband tape later.

I'm almost done with Terry Pratchett's Snuff - first chance I've had in a while to read something other than professional journals and labor reports. So far he hasn't let me down.
