I love Discworld. And it is nice that you can mostly kinda pick and choose, though I would at least read the series (the Witches, the City Watch, Rincewind, etc) in order internally, as that will help with some of the in jokes.

I have heard the Watch books are the best, and Small Gods is a great place to start.

So far my order has been

Guards! Guards!
The Color of Magic
The Light Fantastic
Men at Arms
Mort

So far I have been limited by what I am able to find for reasonable prices.

I've just started the Disc World series myself. Going to go in order. But pausing right now to read "Ready Player One" and then the Mythology series by Jody Lynn Nye.

I just finished Hell House and I am legend, both by Richard Matheson. I am legend was an incredible story and I although I knew the ending, it still hit me like a ton of bricks. Now to force myself through Count of Monte Cristo, I always lose interest during the festival in Rome...

almost finished Apt Pupil by Stephen King. I keep wondering where the horrific twist ending will be it's just not his typical style

Finished books 4 and 5 of the Laundry series (which I love). Starting "Ready Player One" for the first time.
