My faith in humanity was affected at LL5...

Somehow I managed to pull a total IDIOT move and left my CCM barrel bag on my picnic table in the staging area... At least that's where I figured it was since it either fell out of the back of my backpack or I simply left it there while pulling a total pro move right out of my hat.

I figured my bag, and everything it contained (all but one sizer, a spare invert barrel, and a laser matched freak barrel for my autococker...) was probably gone forever. The inserts on their own probably could have sold pretty easily.

On a long shot I headed into the pro shop and asked them if it had been turned in. The girl came walking out and with a huge grin on her face says "sorry looks like it was stolen", and pulls the bag out from behind her back with everything still in it. Had I not figured that I'd be arrested, I would have hugged her.

Whomever decided to do the honorable thing rather than rolling out with my whatnot, THANK YOU! You have helped to restore some of my faith in humanity.
... Time to dance!

My android smartphone slipped out of my pocket in the woods. Someone picked it up and turned it in, so I know what you mean. Guess we both got real lucky

Glad you got your stuff back man!

I was staging with a couple of younger kids and their dad at my table.
When sunday was all over, the kids and the dad had left before I did. Well laying on the table was a i-phone, but was not mine. I assumed it was the dads. I called the home from the contacts, talked to his wife and got their address. When I was finished cleaning up I went and delivered the phone to his house. Guess what? The phone made it back before they did. That was my good thing of the event.

I'm still bummed I couldn't go this year. I'll be there next year though, there's no way I'm missing two years in a row.

I love hearing stories like this. At a local big game last year a friend of mine found a TPX Pistol just laying on the ground with paint still loaded into it. He was going to keep it but I told him if he didn't turn it into lost and found that I would make him walk home....yeah he returned it.

Never found out who lost it and if they ever got it back. Someone also left a Rotor and a pack last weekend at the field and a group of kids walked over and was all like "dude someone left this here, I'm gonna take it"....I cut in and said I know who's it is, I will take it to them....I immediately took it to the nearest ref and told them someone left it.

Loaned my CCM pump to a complete stranger. Got it back, with a clean barrel no less.

Clean barrel, surprising after this weekend.
I am not as good as I once was, but I am as good once as I ever was.
