Seriously... the more I think about my Etha... the more I think about just having a bottle on the bottom in this setup. (I.e. the more I play, the more I strip down and go for simplicity.)

This is by far the cleanest magfed marker I have ever seen. Looks stunning. What is the build?

It is an azodin blowback in an ADN body for dye mags.

Magfed with eyes is an amazing thing. Love the ADN stuff and all the homebrews in here.

An old sportsim experiment I dubbed the Magnek:

Yes it works beautifully, but I'm relying on a 3D part to repeatedly bend correctly/springilly meaning limited lifespan. Ideally I could print in ABS, or redesign for a small spring. It's easy enough to eject with either hand (use thumb or index depending).

Rail on top is where I'd put a red dot or similar for lols. Perfect spot for it. Either way I'm hankering for a magfed speedball comp.

Happy to share file. Needs many design tweaks I hadn't got around to, so YMMV.

For me at any rate it absolutely spits ropes, even with fragile paint. No chops or breaks ever of any kind including running unlimited ramp or full auto (for like half a second and then I have to flip the mag, hah). Mostly because it's working much the same as a hopper would and the eyes are in the right place.

One of the reasons I love my magfed Etha.... eyes with DAM mags

No segment of paintball needs eyes more than magfed. Loaders are so good now that even speedball barely needs them. Magazines... not so good. So I'd rather play with my magnek than any regular magfed marker for that reason.

I used to be all cagy about the magnek and wanting to keep it secret, but I think I'll publish the file, open source. Needs work though!
