Milsig m17 mags sticking/hard to remove

Hey guys, picked up an m17 cqc a couple weeks ago, and have seen videos of the mags smoothly coming out and loading in the magwell. I seem to have a very tight magwell, it requires quite a bit of force to insert and remove the mags. I have sanded down the tab on the seam of the 18 round mag that was included with the gun, but it seems like the whole mag body is very tight to the well and is creating issues with releasing and loading the mags quickly (both the 18 and 20 round squarehead mags). Any advice?

There seems to be a certain amount of extra thickness in the magwell itself with a lip about 3mm before the spot where the magwell rests on the gun body. and it is tight to the mag bodies. Has anyone sanded this area down inside the magwell itself?

Thanks for any input.

sounds a little odd. my mag needs a slight slap/hit to go in, and a light tug to come out. personally I would Have contacted milsig first, as the have great customer service. once you sanded the magwell you voided your warrantee i think, but you can always try, because like i said, they're awesome t customer service.

Are you in the US or Canada? Contact either Doug Brown (USA) or Evan Henshaw (Canada) to get that magwell replaced. It shouldn't be tight like that. Both my CQC and XDC were smooth and required little to no force inserting and/or ejecting mags.

Thanks for the help guys, I've also noticed air leaking out the barrel on Sunday... I'm thinking it is a cold weather issue, and yep I'm in Canada.

Couldn't remedy the air leak with lube into the heat core or the advice in the manual, so I'll have to inspect the o-rings.

It is the oring inside the bolt that rests underneath the head of the bolt that holds the two parts of the bolt together. I had a similar problem with a k iii. I just took out the oring and juiced the threads up with loktite so it would never leak again. Worked pretty well actually.
