I've got a modified holster that will hold one, but not really well unless I buckle it in. That needs a free hand, so it's sort of back to square one.

Or belt. Whatever's easier.

If that doesn't work out.

How about lanyards like you said. But wear them one on each sholder. Whip-it shotgun style. So when dropped they hang by your hips. Maybe bungee slings for more manuverability.,, with those loudeners the tip of the barrel would stay clean incase sayy, you have one gun down (by your hip) and need to get down for cover. The barrel would probably hit the ground =/

How about a modified/shortened shotgun scabbard holster? I don't know what kind of holster you've modified allready, but I would think the scabbard would basically just be a big padded pocket that you could just drop the AT into. Might not be super secure while running but I couldn't even imagine trying to run with a holsterd AT10 anyway lol

Orrr if not kydex (which is sorta expensive IMO) how about some leather.

This is going to be really really hard to explain but bear with me.

I saw a movie once where a character had magazines mounted on their back exposed, to reload he/she put the gun behind their back and slid in the magazine. You could do something similar with ATS mags (assuming they have the mylar flap) but instead of going on your back mount them to the side of your leg with the mylar flap facing down and the top of the mag facing forward. When you need to reload you drop your existing mags (in a dump pouch probably), then just bring the guns down to your legs and slide in new mags.

You'd have to figure out a few things like how to mount the mags, how to have them release (Velcro? friction hold?), but if you pulled it off you'd do the coolest reload action anyone had ever seen on a field. Ever.

Kinda like this:

Edit:

Found kinda what I was talking about in one of the Tomb Raider movies:

Double edit:

How funny, the original thought I had was from tomb raider as well hahaha:

Doesn't mean I wouldn't want to do it.

I think a well-designed kydex (or alternative rigid plastic) holster might be the best. Or possibly something like a Spider Holster for DSLR cameras. There's a lot of neat quick release DSLR holsters, and they are designed for very fast and easy removal/insertion, with similar weights to an ATS.

Or go nuts and strap the AT10s to your forearms, leaving your hands free to change mags. Just need to figure out the trigger.

I like the way you think sir...

Maybe a LPR to a 3way trigger back to a ram to actuate the ATS trigger

I can allready see this thread ending up with diagrams for a Gundam like Mech suite designed for PB with rocket propelled magwell seeking magazines.

Can't wait to see what u come up with kyle.
