Small mag harness for Helix

Hi folks,

Just received my Bolt pump and I quickly realized that the Dmags I picked up are god awful. I have one Helix and plan to grab another 5-pack. I'm used to stick feed play so I doubt I will need more than that.

What do you all recommend for a smaller magfed harness? Any type is fine. Please keep in mind I'm a bigger fella (240 lbs, 40" waist).

Thanks!

Jonny

If I remember correctly, I read that helix mags fit a little snug in ar-15 pouches but aren't too tight. If you're looking for a chest rig I'll cast my vote for condor gear. They're put together well, and an empty panel/harness starts around $16 with pouches starting in the $20 range. Their hydration packs are nice too if you're running a remote or just thirsty in general. I feel like they make the whole set up more sturdy, but I have no real evidence. You and I are about the same size and their stuff fits me well.

yup they will fit the internal pockets of a condor very easily or you can buy mags pouches in for AK mags and these will hold 2x mags of what every paintball size mags you are using (milsig/dam/helix etc)

I use two Outry triple mag pouches on a Rodut Gen II battle belt with a VISM folding dump pouch. If you want to run with a tank pouch, I have mine setup with a Condor H-Harness to keep the pouch from bouncing around on my ***. All in all, the rig was pretty cheap and it works well.

5'10", I hover between 220-230 and 36" waist. We're not that far off. If I don't watch myself the waist line will shoot to 38" real quick.

If you're looking at how things fit, I'm 6' 3" 235 lbs. with a 40" waist. The gear I posted up has a lot of room for adjustment.

So the mag pouches can mount to the back of the Condor battle belt? Essentially carrying the mag like a pod pack? I'm getting ready to buy an M5 and I'm gonna run with 6 mags

You could do that. I ran them on the sides though. If you run it like a traditional pod pack, you'd need a dump pouch for sure.

For empty mags? I'd like to put the mags up front, but crawling is not gonna be possible and I do a lot of crawling.
