The only way I would use a box mag is if I'm playing rec and don't feel like loading mags or 10 round tubes.

The loader in question is basically a shake and bake hopper.

No thanks. It's 2019 not 1992.

I think thatís what KT was saying is that it is somehow electric but requires some agitation from time to time? Iím going to have to see it to understand I think.

Yea I remember him saying every 4-5 shots you have to shake it?

GTFO of here with that.

Exactly. I think that the idea of a box mag is appealing to some, but the implementation in this case is terrible based on their own demonstration of the loader and the price associated with that performance. As much as I like some of the stuff that MCS puts out, this thing smells of Crap4.

There's a reason the Box Rotor, the only box mag that seems to RELIABLY work like a large hopper under the gun, costs as much as it does.

Cause it's got the name "Dye" on the side...

Exactly. Boxmags offer most of the advantages of a magfed gun with little of the hassle. There's definitely an appeal to getting the hopper out of your line of sight, and I think they do a better job at it than the Dfender or Tippmann Raider.

Yep. This indicates a poor/rushed design above the impeller and doesn't inspire confidence in the product at all. Even most homebrew boxmags I've seen don't exhibit this problem.

True that.
What I'd really like to see is someone to sell 3D-printed boxloader kits would run on Halo or Rotor internals- you would just drop the guts in, attach your desired "upper", and away you would go.

I'd be really interested to see how one of those would look on mine.

Ok here we go he uses the box mag on a dam at the end of the video so we can get a better understanding

That was not that bad, it fed well and only needed a few shakes but I'm sure that somehow they could fix that

What worries me isnít that I donít hear him admitting it needs any kind of fixing. Maybe we need to just rely on our MCB community to come up with the necessary mods.
